Dear Valued Customers, we are excited to share a momentous achievement for Wagner Insurance Agency: we are now a proud four-generation family business! This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence and service in the insurance industry. Founded by Robert P. Wagner Sr., our agency began as a one-man operation grounded in honesty, hard work, and integrity. Today, we continue to uphold these values through four generations of the Wagner family: Robert P. Wagner Sr. – founder, Robert P. Wagner Jr. CPCU CIC - retired, Michael R. Wagner, CIC - President, and Matthew C. Wagner, Vice President - the newest addition.

Matthew is 25 years old and graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, where he played rugby and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta brotherhood. Now he is studying for his Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC) The CIC designation is offered by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. This program is nationally recognized and respected within the insurance industry. It requires completion of five specialized courses covering areas such as agency management, commercial casualty, commercial property, life & health, and personal lines insurance. To maintain the designation, CICs must fulfill an annual update requirement by taking 16 hours of supplementary courses each year. 

Now, when Matt isn’t tackling emails, he is tackling the mountains on his snowboard. What is his favorite part of snowboarding?  “It allows you to be outside, having fun with your friends even in harsh conditions.”
